The London Internet Exchange (LINX) have announced that they have added a new data centre PoP to their US interconnection platform, LINX NoVA.
LINX NoVA hosts key global content delivery networks, internet service providers as well as enterprise and gaming networks and covers key locations across Northern Virginia including, Reston, Manassas and Ashburn.
LINX have increased their presence in the Washington DC area by adding the LINX NoVA PoP to Equinix’s Ashburn International Business Exchange™.
LINX Nova, established in 2014, was the first Internet Exchange Point (IXP) built outside of the UK for LINX. The vision, to provide the most data centre dense location in the US with an interconnection platform where networks can peer and experience lower latency by keeping their traffic local.
